Huipil of San Juan Sacatepequez

Product description

This Huipil has two hand-woven canvases on back strap loom. San Juan Sacatepéquez has several common colors such as yellow, blue, red and brown. Each of these canvases is very well brocade with animal patterns, notice that the round neckline is cut and finely embroidered by hand with cotton.

The line in the midle is embroidered by hand and joins both canvases.

The ethnic group is Kakchiquel.
