Huipil Ceremonial

Product description

This beautiful Huipil is formed by two hand-made pieces on a back strap loom, each piece is formed with birds, beautiful flowers and geometric figures.

This Huipil is woven on both sides so it is Ceremonial and is used at weddings, the bride wears this important huipil for that special day, they also use it for other very important events.

It was woven approximately in the 1980s with cotton material. It took six months for its elaboration.

The language spoken in that village is Kakchiquel.
